Current lead times for bamboo fly rods
As of last week, I am no longer accepting deposits for fly rods with lead times now exceeding 14 months. I cannot sit on customer deposits that long. If you would like, leave me a message at www.cjbovarods.com, and if any cancellations occur, I will add you to the list. The upside is that it allows you to imagine your ultimate cane rod every day, and we all know that changes by the hour!
There is a major time investment in every rod, and one set of hands. If I could make rods quicker, I simply would not make them at all. In my mind, there are no shortcuts; when there are, it shows immediately.
