“Along the banks of The Mad River there is often a hovering vapor in the wee hours that crawls into the river from the soy and corn fields from above. It makes for wonderful lighting and creates a transparent composition combining hard shapes with subtle gradients. Portions of the Mad River are very shallow exposing a fascinating strata of roots, rocks, and foliage”
