The Mad River makes the cut at OPA

Very Happy to have made it as a finalist this year in the OPA Oil Painters of America Online Showcase finalist list. The Mad River cast some special light this past year, especially in the fall. My house is just down the road from Kings Creek, which is one of the many little confluences that mingle with the Mad River. I am very grateful to live in and experience Logan County throughout the season, truly one of the most ephemeral places in the Northeast. I look forward to painting again this fall on the southern stretches of the Mad River for 2026.
